Hydroxycut : The Wonder Drug?
October 30th, 2008According to their site, Hydroxycut is a clinically proven fat lose drug that contains the Garcinia cambogia, chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extracts. Those extracts are said to reduce hunger pangs and increase metabolism.
There are those that question the validity of it though because of the said side effects being experienced by some users of the product. According to forums, the medical side effects of Hydroxycut are the following :
- Insomnia
- Nervousness or restlessness
- Indigestion or heartburn
- Shakiness (tremors) or jitteriness
- Increased urination
- High blood pressure (hypertension)
- Seizures
- A rapid heart rate (tachycardia)
- Rapid breathing or difficulty breathing
- Anxiety or agitation
- An irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia)
- Feelings of a rapidly or forcefully beating heart (known as heart palpitations)
- Signs of an allergic reaction, including an unexplained rash, hives, itching, unexplained swelling, wheezing, or difficulty breathing or swallowing.
It would be interesting to note though that not all medical side effects of hydroxycut has been proven, I am not also a medical professional and I cannot say that the drug is unsafe.
So it’s purely a choice between choosing to take a supposed “wonder” drug for slimming down or to do the tried and tested exercise regiments.
In my humble opinion, the best way to slim down would be to eat nutritious foods and to do constant exercises.

Traveling around places and seeing different faces are one of our outlets to relax and escape from our days’ stressful work. Most people go to beaches and loosen up while swinging in a hammock.
