A Day at The Gallery

By gabby

When we visit an art gallery, the viewers of the paintings connect to the creativity and poetic imagination of the painter. The different colors in the painting show the emotion of the artwork.

The painter speaks directly to the viewers through his paintings. The painting, in a literal way, suggests mood and depth but, like music, it also acts on the senses to move, to relax and to excite the viewers.

The artist uses a variety of colors. Some are vibrant or high-key. Some are muted or low-key. Some are a combination of both. Using bold hues creates stunning effects to a painting while using cool hues creates a subtle atmosphere. The colors that the artist chose signifies the world in his eyes and how he arrange the colors in his composition makes us appreciate his masterpiece.

A tour in a gallery leaves several responses. It may tell you to buy a painting. It may tell you to visit again for new artworks. It may even tell you to grab a brush, a canvass and some paints and do your own masterpiece.
