Behind the jamming track “Low” is a newcomer rap artist Flo Rida who visited my country for a live performance, one at Wow Wow Wee, a noontime daily show at ABS-CBN and the other at an SM mall. He didn’t have a major concert performance, mainly because his track “Low,” while famous, does not pull a lot of heads towards his album “Mail on Sunday.”

He better know how damn hypnotic his rap song is. In fact, there’s even a three-year old child who could memorize the chorus “apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur….” The song has been performed by almost all local dance shows, community programs and other gatherings that have dance numbers in their lineups.

Aside from garnering top spots in the hit charts, there are also rap imitations with the beat of the track “Low” sang in local languages. That’s not counting how many times it is being played everywhere there’s a speaker.
