Months ago, I was writing about health promotion and head transplant topics and now here I am again, writing another transplant. The face transplant.
I was reading an article and I was so surprised that even a face transplant is now possible. The procedure, I guess, is quite similar to kidney and liver transplants.
They reported a French team operated a 29-year-old man with a monstrous look and then six months later, he could smile and blink.
Another incident is a Chinese patient whose face was ripped off by a bear and after a few months of having a face transplant, he could eat, drink and talk normally.
Imagine how the health-promoting powers of technology influences our lives. When you think you are also ugly and unwanted, why not try to have a face transplant?
