Still not content with Veyron’s claim to be the most powerful car in existence, VW plans to deploy another beast on the road. No, not the one above but sources say the industrial giant is developing a track-oriented vehicle loaded with features that outperform even the Veyron.
There had been previous speculations about VW’s plans, such as a luxury sedan and a supercar worth around $200K. But a vehicle that can eclipse Veyron? Looks like this automaker wants to steal the limelight out of their own. Apart from the shine and the engines, they want to prove that they can take the lead in automotive performance. Call it the crab-mentality of poaching your own products, like Bentley’s Arnage, which is powered by the automaker. The vehicles they’re planning to design are directly competitive to Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi RS6, which are products under VW Group’s affiliates. More thrilling rides can definitely be expected from the Volks.
