Another EDSA People Power Revolution?
Here we are again revolting against the current administration, demonstrating on the streets, fighting for what is right, showing our love for the country and so on and so forth. Didn’t we learn from the past uprisings? Are we not intelligent enough to notice that what we Filipinos are doing right now is just mere lunacy and a waste of time?
Isn’t it the Filipino people who chose to place those government scumbags in their positions?
And now who are we to blame? The cause of the problem is just rooted within all of us. Corruption already started when you as a free person with free will, chose to vote for a corrupt politician. We are to pay for what we’ve done to the system, placing him in the righteous position wherein he/she can take away everything we’ve worked for, for so many years. And now Filipinos cry out for a change in the administration, “Gloria Resign” as they say it aloud. Then what? Choose another corrupt scumbag to replace her? For what? For a change? This cannot solve any of our problems, no matter what we do, even if it would take another EDSA People Power revolution, nothing can change the system we have in our government. Just think of what our heroes did in the past, did they even change a thing?
What we really need is to change the way we choose who to install.
