Inner Beauty (Maybe it is)…
While having lunch in one of my fave fast food restaurants, I saw this framed picture that really made me knit my eyebrows. It says “The Most Important Thing is Not Things.” I stopped eating and thought about it for a while, what does the writer of this quote wants to portray? Are houses, clothes, and food not things? These are the essential things that we need in order to survive.
A conclusion suddenly popped in my mind — maybe the writer of this quote wants to specify the inner beauty of the person. It is said that inner beauty is more important than physical attributes because possessing good characteristics make a person more beautiful. According to Wikipedia, inner beauty includes psychological factors such as personality, intelligence, grace, charm and elegance.
Always remember: “Youthful beauty fades with time, but, with cultivation, inner beauty grows richer.”
